Nikwax TX.Direct® Wash-In is easy and quick to apply in a washing machine, and its high Durable Water Repellency (DWR) develops on air drying. The washing machine application ensures that the treatment goes right through the garment, treating seams, tapes, and cords, as well as the fabric.
Approximately 100ml required per 2 items
For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate wash cycle. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing. Shake well before use.
Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser
Place maximum of two clean garments in washing machine
Use 100 ml per garment (front loader) or 150 ml per garment (top loader)
Run 30°C synthetic cycle and slow spin (front loader) or 40°C synthetic cycle (top loader)
Hand Wash (use gloves):
Immerse one clean item in 6 L of hand-hot water in a sink or bowl
Add 50 ml of TX.Direct®
Agitate to mix, leave to soak for 5-10 minutes, then agitate thoroughly
Rinse in cold water until water runs clear
Do not machine-wash garments if taped seams have become dislodged.*
To maintain waterproofing always wash with Nikwax Tech Wash®. Do not use detergents.

Mitch and the crew at Off Track went above and beyond with their service and pricing as it is second to none . Have just lodged two orders for On Track Meals as their pricing is awesome and delivery is speedy. Even when I had a meal pouch that had been knocked around Mitch didn’t hesitate to refund me the cost of the meal . I’ll definitely be back to by more meals AS ON TRACK MEALS ARE SUPER DELICIOUS!!! The boys at Offtrack were super helpful! Both Anthony and Mitch provided plenty of great advice on things such as cooking systems all the way to sleeping bags. I would very strongly recommend Offtrack! I came last year for a rain jacket, Marcus was really helpful finding exactly what I was after and giving me all the info and options, super informative and patient. I came back recently to browse tent and pack options, again Marcus walked me through several options, answered all my questions, and when requested gave me recommendations based on what I was looking for. Offtrack will support you to buy the right gear for what you’re looking for, whether that’s recreational trips or guiding, and I felt they were super responsive to finding products in the budget I was looking for, and committed to finding options for me for a good price. I felt the staff are genuinely wanting to support people to have the right gear and are passionate about the outdoors! Staff:
Extremely helpful and cater towards hiking/backpacking much better than other big brand stores.

Price:
Often find geat deals on discontinued products of high quality. They also have a better price to quality ratio opposed to other big brand stores. The best gear however still is and always will be expensive no matter what shop you go to, just decently better here.

Selection Range:
Mostly high end brands with some budget options. The overall selection isn’t huge but what more do you actually need.

Cons:
Can be a bit hard to find.
Lacking demonstration of tents so you’re not always sure what your looking at. But the shop is fairly small and the staff will help you find to what your looking for anyway.

By my personal experience, this is the best shop in North and East Melbourne coming from The Yarra Valley.

Great customer service from Mitch and Terry - professional, friendly and very helpful. I purchased from Sydney and my order was shipped and received in record time. Prices were also very competitive. I made an order online (Wilderness Equipment Second Arrow UL tent) hoping it may arrive on time for a quick trip to the Alpine region. It arrived within 48 hours! The online store had a fantastic selection of stock, delivery was super fast and the cost was lower than all other in stock stores I researched. I'm definitely going to be a returning customer.
