Down Wash Direct 1 Litre

More Details

Nikwax Down Wash Direct® is a highly effective cleaner which removes body oils and dirt from both the fabric and the down fill. It restores the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of both the outer fabric and the down.
This protects against rain and condensation, preventing the item from wetting out and maintaining the natural insulating properties of down. It revives breathability, allowing moisture vapour to pass through the item, optimising performance in cold and damp conditions.
Approximately 100 ml required per two items
Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser
Place maximum two items in washing machine
Add 100 ml of Down Wash.Direct®
Wash according to care label, preferably on low setting and slow spin
After the washing cycle has finished run multiple spin cycles, each time incrementally increasing the spin speed, to remove excess water.
Sleeping bags and very large jackets are best hand washed in a bath or equivalent and then spin dried in a washing machine.

Mitch and the crew at Off Track went above and beyond with their service and pricing as it is second to none . Have just lodged two orders for On Track Meals as their pricing is awesome and delivery is speedy. Even when I had a meal pouch that had been knocked around Mitch didn’t hesitate to refund me the cost of the meal . I’ll definitely be back to by more meals AS ON TRACK MEALS ARE SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Plus there price and service is bang on !!! Well done OFF TRACK

The boys at Offtrack were super helpful! Both Anthony and Mitch provided plenty of great advice on things such as cooking systems all the way to sleeping bags. They were happy to chat for ages and answer all questions I had to make sure I was certain before making any big purchases. Couldn’t be happier 🤩

Massive shout out to Marcus who hooked me up with an Exped Duo over the phone just 5 mins before closing on a Friday. It arrived by Monday morning (regional area in a different state). Incredible service! Thanks Marcus :)

I would very strongly recommend Offtrack! I came last year for a rain jacket, Marcus was really helpful finding exactly what I was after and giving me all the info and options, super informative and patient. I came back recently to browse tent and pack options, again Marcus walked me through several options, answered all my questions, and when requested gave me recommendations based on what I was looking for. Offtrack will support you to buy the right gear for what you’re looking for, whether that’s recreational trips or guiding, and I felt they were super responsive to finding products in the budget I was looking for, and committed to finding options for me for a good price. I felt the staff are genuinely wanting to support people to have the right gear and are passionate about the outdoors! I really enjoyed chatting about both the products and also a bit about the outdoor ed industry. I will definitely be back and recommending to all of my friends who work in the outdoors! Thanks Marcus and Offtrack.

Great staff, very helpful with a wealth of knowledge

OCD'S Finest

Staff: Extremely helpful and cater towards hiking/backpacking much better than other big brand stores. Price: Often find geat deals on discontinued products of high quality. They also have a better price to quality ratio opposed to other big brand stores. The best gear however still is and always will be expensive no matter what shop you go to, just decently better here. Selection Range: Mostly high end brands with some budget options. The overall selection isn’t huge but what more do you actually need. Cons: Can be a bit hard to find. Lacking demonstration of tents so you’re not always sure what your looking at. But the shop is fairly small and the staff will help you find to what your looking for anyway. By my personal experience, this is the best shop in North and East Melbourne coming from The Yarra Valley.

Great customer service from Mitch and Terry - professional, friendly and very helpful. I purchased from Sydney and my order was shipped and received in record time. Prices were also very competitive. Mitch went out of his way to order in an item that wasn't in stock which made shopping with Offtrack nice and easy. Would shop there again and recommend for all your outdoor adventure needs.

I made an order online (Wilderness Equipment Second Arrow UL tent) hoping it may arrive on time for a quick trip to the Alpine region. It arrived within 48 hours! The online store had a fantastic selection of stock, delivery was super fast and the cost was lower than all other in stock stores I researched. I'm definitely going to be a returning customer. Btw, the tent is fantastic! 🙂
