Whistle is stowed in a sewn in pocket on the inside of the left chest near the shoulder strap. The whistle is secured by a cord sewn into the base of the pocket (see images). Whistle is easily detached from the leash if required. This makes for ease of storage of the PFD with the whistle tidy and less maintenance and loss for those responsible for the care and upkeep.
