We are here to help make purchasing the right gear easier for students and parents. We have worked alongside Ballarat Clarendon College staff to ensure the kit you buy here is what you need for the program and helps ensure your camp or Yuulong experience is as best it can possibly be!

Some Notes From BCC Staff:
Although relatively close to Ballarat, Yuulong has a unique weather pattern and dressing correctly for the conditions is incredibly important. While the temperature itself may be more temperate than students are used to in Ballarat, strong coastal winds and high rainfall can make conditions far more extreme.
While the Yuulong Campus is a residential campus, all students spend much of their time outdoors engaging in a range of land and water based activities, and each student participates in three hikes during their term.
With this in mind, the equipment list provided for students is a compulsory list and includes all items students will need to ensure they are not only appropriately dressed for all activities in all conditions, but also that they are able to gain the most from the opportunities presented to them throughout the program. Please ensure that all items are labelled clearly with the child’s name.
Staff from the Yuulong Campus will be available to answer any questions or provide further clarification to parents and students in relation to any equipment listed below. Additionally, there are a number of shops in Ballarat that supply outdoor clothing and equipment.
