Take 3 for the Sea
Take 3 inspires participation in simple actions that reduce the impacts of plastic pollution and waste in the ocean and broader environment.
Port Phillip Eco Centre
The Port Phillip EcoCentre has been transforming the way Melbourne understands wildlife, waterways and climate change since 1999.
Chameleon
Chameleon is the natural evolution of our much-loved Second Life Project. Built on the same foundations of sustainability, community, and adventure, Chameleon takes things further.

Chameleon Recycling & Rehoming Program

Chameleon helps reduce our environmental waste by reusing and rehoming pre loved or warranties outdoor gear. 

So far Chameleon has rehomed and recycled more than:

    • 3 Tons of clothing
    • 4 Tons of equipment
    • Over 1 Ton of metal

Green Business Practices

Offtrack is Solar Powered! 

In 2024 we installed Solar Panels above the Offtrack shop which
delivers power in excess to Offtrack’s needs. We are proud to say that most days Offtrack is feeding green energy back into the grid to help support our communities environmental impacts.

At Offtrack we believe in making our local deliveries as environmentally friendly as possible by reducing our carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels.  Moving forward Offtrack endeavours to have all vehicles hybrid or electric to help combat align with our mission!

We believe in promotion of Australian Made Products, community initiatives, locally sourced materials and Australian Brands. With our internal workshop and local connections we have been able to support a number of local start ups and initiatives.

I have now been purchasing gear from Offtrack for three years. Mitch and the team have been fantastic to deal with and the gear they have provided my school and program has been of the highest quality. Initially when this relationship started Offtrack were happy to come in and meet with me personally to give me the chance to assess the equipment for myself. I also explained to them that I was working with another very well-known provider of outdoor ed gear and that I was going to make a comparison between the two. At no stage did I feel uncomfortably pressured into buying anything. When I did eventually confirm the purchase, the goods arrived promptly and without hassle. They were also considerably cheaper than their competitors. I intend to continue purchasing equipment for our school fleet with Offtrack.

FAQS

How do you know what products to choose?

Choosing products should be easy, we have narrowed down the list with specially chosen products for students and or parents using it, our professional understanding of environments and trips allows us to only recommend products that are up to the task. From that point on the choice is yours based on how much you intend to use the product beyond the trip, budgets or even how luxurious you wish to do the trip.

How do I buy for my school?

Simple, we can deal with you directly and we will send you a quote directly, from there we can modify swap and change the order as needed. Once we finalise the exact order we can deliver the gear and send an invoice to your accounts team for payment.

Do you make your own gear?

We often do special runs of equipment custom made and tailored for a specific clients needs. This can be anything from group uniforms to custom canvas backpacks. Fortunately we have partnered manufacturing with one of Australia's top equipment suppliers so its not one of our team breaking out the knitting needles.
