A brilliant selected guide to the Arapiles (pronounced Arra-pill-ees), one of Australia’s premier rock climbing venues.

1300 routes, 158 excellent photo topos, great maps and inspiring photography – what more could you want except an air ticket to Oz?!

The climbing is trad, though there are some old bolts which need special hangers – you’ll find out about these when you get there. The guide also has a short section (16 pages) on the superb bouldering on offer.

Although the guide is quite expensive it is nearly as dear in Australia and from what we have been told very hard to get hold of – probably best to buy before you go, although it will add nearly three-quarters of a kilo to your luggage!
